Originally from the Fingerlakes region of upstate New York, soprano Adrianne Fleming has spent the last dozen years teaching, directing, singing, and performing in Central New York, Greater Boston, and the Denver Metro areas. She currently resides in scenic Conifer, CO, enjoying all that the Rocky Mountains have to offer while being just a stone's throw from the dynamic musical community of Metro Denver. Ms. Fleming holds a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance and music education from Ithaca College's esteemed School of Music, as well as a Master of Music Education degree from Kent State University. Recent choral engagements include Colorado Bach Ensemble, The Alpine Chorale, Evergreen Chorale, and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. She has been featured as a soloist with The Alpine Chorale, Commonwealth Chorale and has performed in such venues as Lincoln Center (NYC), Symphony Hall (Boston, MA), Tanglewood Music Center (Lenox, MA), and the iconic Sydney Opera House in Australia. Ms. Fleming also has extensive experience serving as cantor, soloist, and section leader across a diverse array of houses of worship across the country.
Ms. Fleming is no stranger to the operatic stage, with credits at Opera On Tap, Longwood Opera, Opera 51, Odyssey Opera, Ithaca College Opera, and others. Notable roles include Lola (Gallantry), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), Kate Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly, Giannetta (L'Elisir d'Amore) and La Princesse in Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortileges.
In addition to her classical training and performance repertoire, Ms. Fleming has a wealth of experience in the realm of musical theater. Some of her favorie roles have been Marcy Park (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Hope Harcourt (Anything Goes!) and Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She has also been a member of production teams for scholastic, community, and professional theatre organizations and continues to pursue opportunities to produce, direct, and vocally lead musicals as much as possible. Her work in Newton, MA earned two subsequent METG (Broadway in Boston) Choral Award nominations in 2014 and 2015.

By day, Ms. Fleming is a choral conductor and vocal music teacher. She has been the Director of Vocal Music at Alameda International Jr./Sr. High School in Lakewood, CO since August 2016. She has also maintained a small private voice studio off and on since the early 2000s. Over the years, Adrianne's private students have earned such honors as: All-County Honor Choirs, Junior and Senior District Festival Chorus, All-State Festival Chorus, All-Eastern Festival Chorus, leading roles in musicals, solos with choral and a cappella ensembles, undergraduate music program acceptances, and more. Adrianne Fleming has been directing choirs since 2010, having spent the first six years of her career teaching in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, and now in her eighth year proudly leading vocal ensembles in Jeffco Public Schools, one of NAMM's perennial Best Communities for Music Education. In her tenure, Ms. Fleming has served as music educator and choral director at the following public schools:

Mrs. Fleming always knew she wanted to teach music, having participated in musical theater throughout childhood, and choir and band since middle school. Realizing she had a knack for classical singing and a love of teaching, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College (NY) and a Master's degree in Music Ed from Kent State University (OH). After graduation, she moved to New England to share her love of music with her first students and proudly built strong choir programs in both of her middle school positions. Now in Colorado, Mrs. Fleming is honored to contribute to the growth and success of the Alameda International Vocal Music Program and be part of the secondary choir team in Jefferson County Public Schools.

While working to improve the quality, exposure, and appreciation of her school choir program, Mrs. Fleming also works hard to cultivate essential social-emotional skills among her students within her classroom and extracurricular offerings. Recently turned onto the power of mindfulness, Adrianne is a fierce advocate for mindfulness integration into everyday life for both herself and her students. She uses her choir director role is a conduit to instill meaningful qualities in her students such as open-mindedness and stress management by folding in opportunities to practice reflection, journaling, meditation, gratitude, and even yoga. In fact, Adrianne is in the process of pursuing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and Certification. Marrying her love of music with her passion for mental and physical wellness has garnered a rejuvenated enthusiasm for her career as a music educator.

When not teaching or singing, Mrs. Fleming enjoys spending time with her young family, being outdoors, devouring audiobooks, and staying active.
